Society of Social Workers Leadership in Health Care (SSWLHC) Website Launch

The Society of Social Workers Leadership in Health Care (SSWLHC) is a prominent professional organization dedicated to advancing the role of social workers in healthcare settings. They approached Web Strategies with the objective of revamping their website. The primary goals were to enhance the overall user experience by removing outdated elements, improving navigation, and incorporating new features to serve their members and visitors.

Web Strategies performed a comprehensive assessment of the existing website, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. It was essential to provide a more intuitive and engaging user experience to cater to the needs of their members and site visitors.

The outdated hamburger menu hid important information and was replaced with a simplified and easily accessible navigation structure. Prominent calls to action to become a member were added to the navigation area and homepage to encourage conversions.

A dedicated section highlighting upcoming events was added to the homepage, making it easier for members and visitors to stay informed about important gatherings. Web Strategies also integrated a live Facebook feed on the homepage to provide real-time updates and maintain user engagement.

Obsolete content and duplicated pages were eliminated to create a more coherent and organized site. This ensured consistency in content presentation and organization.

The Society of Social Workers Leadership in Health Care (SSWLHC) and Web Strategies successfully transformed their website, achieving the primary objectives of providing a better user experience and increasing member engagement. The revamped website now serves as a more effective tool for connecting, informing, and mobilizing social workers in healthcare settings, all in a visually appealing design that can be easily updated and transformed as the organization changes.
