Examples of Special Functionality We’ve Built

With hundreds of websites under our belt, we’ve heard the gamut of requests when it comes to special functionality. Clients have requested all sorts of different functions and we are here to make your ideas come to life! Here are some examples of special functionality we’ve built into websites so you can know our full capabilities.

1. eCommerce

From simple 10 product stores, to stores with hundreds of products, we’ve built just about everything in between. We can integrate add-on options, collect additional data, and set up custom shipping options. We’ve set up role-based pricing, dropshipping integrations, and even product sync across POS platforms.

2. Newsletter Signups

With as many newsletter providers there are out there, we’ve integrated a good handful of them. Mailchimp is a popular option as is constant contact. Signups can be added to footers as well as ecommerce forms, so users can opt into marketing emails.

3. Forms

With as many newsletter providers there are out there, we’ve integrated a good handful of them. Another common functionality request are forms! They can be extremely simple such as a contact form, or more complex with conditional logic. Forms can also be used to collect donations by connecting a payment processor.

4. Event Calendars

There’s lots of ways to set up an event calendar so that it can help your users get connected with your events! Whether it’s list view or monthly view, we can set up ticket sales, event locations with a map, or even sync with a Google calendar!

5. Custom Resource Database

For resources specific to your organization such as a list of scholarships or animals for adoption, we can create custom post types so that each item can be listed with custom data points. Let us know how you’d like your users to filter by and we can set up search criteria that makes it easy to find what they’re looking for.

The biggest thing about requesting special functionality on your website is clearly communicating ALL aspects of the function. You may think that an e-commerce store build includes a special product filter by default, but we won’t know unless you tell us. Making sure that you are clear about each part of functionality and the things it can do will ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes time to build things out, saving you money and everyone a headache.
